Our preschool had weekly yoga classes. Our 4 year old loved it. He was much calmer and relaxed on a Friday. He even practiced his animal positions before bed and they really helped our wild boy slow down during doing his yoga. Thank you.
Both of my children have attended kids’ yoga with Pamela in TheYurt. To say they love it is an understatement!! They get a boost from being with Pamela. They get tools to help them calm down, energise and deal with difficult situations. Pamela is always so genuinely interested in the children and knows how to encourage and guide them. Highly recommended by me and even more highly recommended by my children!
Pamela is a fantastic yoga teacher. She is super with the kids. My 11yr old daughter absolutely loves going to yoga and is always nice and relaxed when she comes home. Not only is it brilliant for exercise but is great for meeting new people. TheYurt is amazing and you can feel the calmness inside when we drop her off. I would highly recommend Pamela and the lovely space that is TheYurt.
Yoga with Pamela is different for so many reasons, mainly because Pamela is a gifted, intuitive teacher. The children adore her classes, and TheYurt is as special as Pamela is herself!
I have learned to be kind and focus on the present moment.
I feel that I know what to do now when I am angry or upset.
It helped me with my tests and to calm down if I got a bad score.
When something goes wrong I can do a little yoga class and respond not react.
When I am annoyed I do yoga when no one notices.
When I was mad with my mum I relaxed instead of shouting at her.
When my uncle died I did the breathing exercise is to calm me.
The classes are fun energetic and peaceful.
Yoga helps me to get rid of my sad memories.
I like the games about yoga and breathing in silence.
Yoga has helped me to control my anger. Whenever I feel upset I think of how to let things go.
